100 Days Around Australia

100 days around Australia

In April this year we set off for a 100 day journey as a family around much of Australia. We have our 4WD van and our camper trailer, our sea kayak and 3 bikes, our walking and rock climbing gear. We're prepared for wild adventures.

It's been a dream of ours, Ian's and Mine, to take our children on a slow trip around our country. We dream of slow travel, of taking our time to find the natural wonders we seek, of meeting with others and sharing experiences, and perhaps most of all we dream of grand educational opportunities for our growing girls.

We believe that a quality education comes primarily from experiential learning, scaffolded closely by parents and loved ones. We believe in lifelong learning, where both parents and children learn together, side-by-side. We homeschool our eldest daughter and this big adventure is a major part of this year's learning and growth. Please follow this blog and share our adventures with us.
